I build the Microsoft security that other people get called in to fix.

My career did not start in security. It started in 2013, writing applications on the Microsoft stack. That beginning still shapes how I work: I understand these platforms from the code up, not just the architecture diagram down. I know what it takes to actually build and run what I design, because I have done it.

Over the years I moved from infrastructure consulting into enterprise cloud, and then into the discipline that defines my work today: Microsoft security architecture. Across more than 100 projects and 100 organizations worldwide, I have modernized enterprises onto Azure and Microsoft 365, cut cloud spend through better architecture, and designed Zero Trust models that lifted security posture by up to 80 percent, for clients spanning financial services, government, pension funds, healthcare, and telecommunications.

Today I lead a Microsoft Center of Excellence and architect security for global enterprise clients. My designs have been independently audited by Deloitte and KPMG and passed every time, and I have been trusted by UK, US, and Saudi government institutions. What has not changed since 2013 is the principle behind all of it: security only works when the people who inherit it can actually run it.
